Teleport Access Services Co., Ltd. (TAS), established in 1994, was jointly invested in by the Kinpo Group, ERA Group, and several prominent institutional and corporate investors. In 2004, SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation, Japan's largest satellite operator, became a strategic investor and key partner, strengthening TAS's international foundation. The company also established its own satellite earth station in Linkou, demonstrating its long-term commitment to the satellite industry and its technical capabilities.
Over the past three decades, TAS has maintained steady growth and built a strong reputation through its professional engineering team and extensive telecommunications experience. The company provides a wide range of services, including satellite uplink services, Satellite News Gathering (SNG), and live broadcasting of television programs and sporting events, making TAS a preferred partner for media organizations and government agencies both in Taiwan and abroad. In recent years, TAS has earned industry recognition for its high-quality internet streaming services, successfully supporting major events and international sporting competitions.
In response to digital convergence and emerging market demands, TAS has not only obtained a Fixed Satellite Communication Network License, but also successfully passed the maritime satellite communication certification process in June 2026, officially qualifying the company to provide maritime satellite communication services. This achievement marks another important milestone in the development of the company's satellite business.
