Teleport Access Services, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “TAS”) was established in 1994 through joint investments from the Kinpo Group, ERA Group, and several well-known institutional investors. In 2004, TAS welcomed a strategic investment from SKY Perfect JSAT, the largest satellite operator in Japan, laying a solid foundation for international development. The company also established its own Linkou Satellite Earth Station, demonstrating its long-term industry vision and technical expertise.
Over the past three decades, TAS has maintained steady growth and operations. With a highly skilled technical team and extensive experience in telecommunications, TAS provides a wide range of services, including satellite uplink services, occasional-use satellite transmission (SNG), and live broadcasting of programs and sporting events. In response to the convergence of digital technologies and emerging market demands, TAS has obtained a Fixed Satellite Communication Service license and is actively applying for a Maritime Satellite Communication license. The company is also expanding into the Indonesian market, promoting innovative applications such as satellite-enabled telemedicine and smart monitoring systems.
